Demon Casting

Whether its blimps crashing into lightposts or people getting trampled for bargains on Black Friday, excitement is a given during Thanksgiving. Me, I look for solitude, so during the week I bundled up and walked over to Chelsea to do the gallery thing. One thing I enjoyed was "The Painted Word" exhibit at Stellan Holm.

Any show with works from Basquiat, Warhol, Richard Prince and Jeff Koons is almost guaranteed to be good. This small collection of pieces scratched the surface of a very interesting subject. I also really liked Keith Haring's "The 1982 Color Book Drawings" at Briggs Robinson.
